June's Story...
HLHR is courtesy posting June for Kaser's Pet Rescue of Alabama.....
June is a one year old, female, 50 pound, red and white, Siberian Husky/Heeler mix. June and her brother were owner surrenders as tiny pups. The brother has long since been adopted, but June remains without a forever home.
June is an easy going, affectionate dog that enjoys children and toys. She gets along with other dogs, but has not ever lived with cats. She would probably be fine with them if introduced properly.
For more info on adoptinge June please contact her foster Mom, Emily at emslucy@yahoo.com or e mail HLHR at MIsty@hickorylevelhoundrescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

June, a Carrollton Siberian Husky/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Carrollton, or seeking a Siberian Husky/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Carrollton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carrollton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carrollton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Siberian Husky/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carrollton paves the way for another one to be saved.
