UPDATE: Sylly loves hiking. His hiker has chosen to transport him in her car several times .... He stretches across the back seat and dozes while she drives! Sylly's newest trick: jumping up and down when he sees his hiking buddy. Then he sits for collaring!
My Mom lived on the street when she had my litter. One day someone shot her. She fell asleep. We couldn't leave her. People caught us. I don't remember a human touch before then. Eventually, we came to Houlagans. I want to trust people .... it’s so hard.
Last Saturday, I went on a hike. It scared me so much, but I had a "Gentle Leader" on my head. I don't know what that means, but it reminded me so much of Mom carrying us that I just relaxed. The hike had a lot of strangers there, but they had such gentle energy .... I just watched and chilled and walked. Someday I want to live with a person like one of those folks.
Sylvester is 6 years old.
