Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ike was recently rescued from a high kill shelter. He is 10 pounds and is full grown. Ike is a perky little terrier, not a puppy but a small adult. He likes to meet new people and loves attention -- which he attracts with his natural good looks. He'n not only handsome, but smart. He learned his name in less than a day, and has since learned to come, sit, walk on a leash, fetch, and go into his crate on command. Ike doesn't ask to go out, but behaves well when taken outside and told to do his business. He isn't a barker. He has been living quite amiably with a bigger dog and a smaller dog, but he'd prefer to have his humans to himself. He hasn't met any cats. Ike is a little shy at first, but we have found him to be sweet and sociable, eager to please and happy to cuddle. He is quite the charmer, and needs someone to give him all the super-star attention he deserves He is a quick learner, is housebroken, and behaves well in his crate - no crying, even at night! He is not a barker and not hyper like you might expect from a JRT! p>Ike will be at our Meet and Greet on Saturday June 23rd from 2:00-4:00 at Dog Days (an awesome doggie daycare facility!) 2120 Myrtle Ave, St Paul.
