Maggie's Story...
MAGGIE:
Maggie is a loving 6 1/2 year old Cocker Spaniel with lots of energy and a wonderful personality. Maggie is vision impaired but she doesn't let that stop her from living life to the fullest. She is a "go with the flow" kinda girl - never complains or whines and is not a barker. She is happiest when she's with her family, lying at someone's feet. She LOVES doggy beds and Nyla bones. Maggie is adjusting to having fur siblings but would prefer to be the only dog in the home. She is crate trained and house broken but has an occasional accident due to her vision limitations (she gets confused about where she is at times). A lovely little girl with facial expressions that will melt your heart, Maggie is one of a kind.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Alpharetta Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
