Nina's Story...
Nina is a female chihuahua/minpin mix. She is about 9 pounds. She's around 3 years old, spayed, current on shots, heartworm negative and microchipped. She is good with other dogs and cats. She seems very sweet around children, but under certain fearful conditions, she could nip, so we will not place her in a home with small children. She is located in the Central Florida area. Nina's adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nina, a Sanford Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Sanford, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Sanford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sanford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sanford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sanford paves the way for another one to be saved.
