Benedict (Benny)'s Story...
Benny was left when his owner moved; . I took him to the vet where he was neutered and checked out and started fostering him. Benny is very sweet; he likes to stay outside and is living in a neighbor's secluded yard with her 2 cats. His right eye was recently removed because of glaucoma which could not be controled by drugs. He is a happy little kitty who loves to cuddle when I go to feed him and relates well to the other cats and adults there.

About Our Rescue Group...
I am retired and live near UF's campus, where students often dump their pets when they leave. Operation Catnip neuters/innoculates stray kittens/cats, and we try to find home for them.
I am part of an email link-up that tries to find foster and/
adoptive homes for animals in need.
I am applying for 501 (3) status

Our Adoption Process...
If someone sees a photo and is interested in an animal, I send them a foster/adoption application. I invite them to
come and spend time with the kitty. If they decide to adopt/foster, the fee is $60. The person signs that he will not declaw and is told that he may return to cat to me if there is any problem whatsoever.
