PATRICK's Story...
PLEASE READ THIS PROFILE AND THE REQUESTED CRITERIA BEFORE CALLING OR SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. THANKS FOR YOUR ATTENTION AND CONSIDERATION

THIS IS PATRICK...and a rescue peer saw him at the Carson Shelter and called said "Randee, you have to take this dog -- he's scared to death in there!" This gorgeous, tri colored, 1.5-2 yr old, 17 lb. Lhasa Apso just needed to be sprung from the shetler and just like that....he was a happy boy! Patrick is affectionate, smart, loving, playful and a wonderful little man. He is a great combination of energy and calm. He loves to drive in the car with you and sit between you and the door! While he hasn't started kissing yet, he does love to cuddle. He seems to be potty trained, but no guarantees!! There is no question that Patrick needs a canine buddy....he loves to play! He will chase after a squeaky toy, but we haven't seen him bring it back yet! He is a great eater....and wants to please. We can't imagine how he ended up in the shelter....but we do know that his matted coat evidenced whomeverhad him, didn't know how to properly care for him! With just a bit of training, this boy will be the best companion ever! If you have another small, young, playful dog....kids over 8 yrs old....and a family who has time to love and adore this fantastic dog.... come and get him!

Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Why Adoption is a Great Option

PATRICK, a Los Angeles Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
