My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Shelby!! This sweet little girl is about 6 months old and has recovered perfectly from having her eye removed due to "narrow angle glaucoma". She rides very well in the car, is very affectionate, LOVES people, does well with kids and she does very well with other dogs, especially large dogs. She is currently in a house with a 9 year old lab mix and a 4 year old. She likes to chew on Kongs. Working toward housebreaking. Since her surgery she is still getting used to her surroundings to be confident to go outside. She loves to curl up with you. She does very well at night and sleeps. She prefers a blanket to sleep on. She rarely barks and knows how to sit. She currently weighs about 33 pounds. Not sure how active she is for running since she is not allowed to run until the vet says that she has recovered sufficiently. Shelby can see perfectly through her one eye and is not expected to have any future complications. Shelby is fully vetted and ready to find her special FORever family.
