My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look at that face! He is so cute! Becker was born in November 2006 and we believe he is a mix between a German Shepherd/Beagle, but that is only a guess. He was originally in a home that had no time for a puppy and kept him crated all of the time. He then went to a family member that had 3 smaller dogs and had no idea how to treat/train a larger breed dog. So, he was surrendered to CARES, so we can find this terrific boy a forever home where he will thrive!

Becker is a pretty “soft” dog, who’s very responsive to even the slightest correction. He gets along with other dogs, cats, and kids. He’s just happy puppy who wants to grow and enjoy every minute of every day with people who love him. He is quite playful with other dogs.

He is house trained and crate trained and is currently learning basic house manners in his new pack. He is a very smart boy who would really enjoy learning new things.

Becker loves to cuddle and loves attention. He has a nice energy level to keep up with a busy family or just lay around and watch TV. He is just a very sweet boy!

What family will be the lucky ones to give Becker the forever home he deserves?
