Stanley's Story...
Stanley is around 1 to 2 years old, is Large in size, walks on a leash, sits when asked, he appears to be sweet & loving, mellow, playful, some what obedient, well mannered, fun, and a really special young man. I gave a little test by looking in Stanley's mouth, pulling on his ears and tail, holding his paw and giving him a little kiss and hug. Stanley appeared to past the test with no problems, he didn't want me to stop, loved the attention.. We feel he may make a good family member and out doors fun loyal companion. We also feel this boy would do best in a very well fenced yard to play in. If you wish, Stanley can be tested at the shelter around Dogs & Cats.

Act quickly to adopt Stanley. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stanley, a Grass Valley Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Grass Valley, or seeking a Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Grass Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grass Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grass Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grass Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
