Skyler's Story...
FOSTER NEEDED!!
Skyler was found tied out in the backyard of a vacant house in Detroit. One day she got loose and was picked up by a neighbor who contacted our rescue. A week later we realized she was with puppies. 9 to be exact. As you can see, she had a lot of work to be done as she was only 45lbs. All her puppies found homes and now it is her turn. Skyler can be with a family or a single person. She gets along with other dogs and thrives to play with her pack. She needs a strong leader as with any bully breed, but will make a fantastic lifelong companion. Please consider Skyler and give her a forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skyler, a Birmingham American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Birmingham, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Birmingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Birmingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Birmingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Birmingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
