Winter's Info...
| Breed: | American Shorthair | Color: | White (Mostly) | Age: | Adult |
| Sex: | Male | Hair: | Short |
Winter has an amazing story. Found sleeping in some bushes in Memorial Day in 2010, he really looked like a blown up plastic bag. He let himself be dragged out of there and since then has never been interested in the outdoors. Winter was full of scabs from scratches and bites and needed months of recovery for his white, sensitive skin. What his real story is, we will never know but his life had not been easy, we know that for sure. Whatever hardship he has been through, it has not taken away his potential for being a perfect pet. He is so full of love and grateful for small things like a lap to sleep in or a window to gaze through. He loves to follow you around and be close to you. He loves young cats that he can act like a daddy to. Don't miss out on this guy if you have a quiet home.
Rescue Group Info...
We help strays and free-roaming cats live better lives by facilitating spay and neuter and vaccinations. Animal not suitable for living in the wild will be homed through our adoption program.
Make our day - adopt a stray today!
$40-60 to adopt a cat. $90-150 for popular breeds. Higher rates for animals who get adopted very quickly help fund the care of those who need a longer stay in their foster homes and/or expensive veterinary care.
All cats are altered, vaccinated with a 3-in-1 and rabies (underage kittens will receive rabies free of charge when old enough). All potential adopters will be interviewed. Full return policy if adoption does not work out.

Cat Network does not take cats for fostering from the public. We will however assist you in finding homes for strays as much as we can.
Stanislaus County.
Cat Network of Stanislaus is a compilation of several small rescue groups, all very experienced and devoted to feral cat care and resuce as well as adoptions. We take pride in the fact that we consider every animal worthy of rescuing regardless of age and medical needs. Some of our cats are special needs but often so worth the trouble and expense.
