Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Meander's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Meander's Story...
Meander is a very handsome grey and white shorthaired tuxedo kitty, approximately 2 years old, who arrived as a stray. He seems to be very laid-back about other cats, and loves all the people he meets!

Meander is pretty playful and VERY affectionate; he puts up with us cutting his claws, and loves being brushed. We think he will do fine in pretty much any family, and will enjoy being an indoor or indoor-outdoor cat. He's definitely the sort that will want to sit on your lap and sleep on your bed.

Meander will arrive neutered, wormed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. Adoption fee for Meander is suggested minimum $40 (more gratefully accepted). Meander will be placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to adjust to each other. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Meander, a Republic Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Republic, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Republic.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Republic already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Republic breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Republic paves the way for another one to be saved.
