Meow! My name is Emily

Emily's Story...
Emily is a beautiful tortoiseshell, short-haired girl. She has very pretty markings and gorgeous big gold eyes! Emily's story is rather sad though...her elderly owner became ill, and was hoping to come back home, but sadly had to go into a nursing home. She was unable to take her cat with her, so Emily was turned in to a shelter. The poor kitty was understandably upset over losing her home, so she has been a little temperamental. She enjoys being pet, but when she's had enough she may give you a little nip to remind you that she is done. She may do best as an only pet since she has been through so much traumatic change lately.

Emily has been spayed, is current on vaccines, has been de-wormed and flea treated, and also has been tested negative for Feline Leukemia virus. She is approximately 5 yrs old.

An application is required prior to visiting our animals in their foster homes and to help ensure a good fit between adopter and adoptee.
