Blue-Adopted!'s Story...
Little Blue was found wandering as a stray in a volunteer's neighborhood. He is a sweet boy who loves everyone he meets! Although he was a bit timid when he was first rescued, he has completely come out of his shell. He gets along great with the other dogs, kids, and even the cat at his foster home. He is quickly picking up on his house training and basic manners. He loves to be held and be around others. We love his gorgeous colored coat. Blue needs a home with a fenced back yard. Birth date 3/8/12

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blue-Adopted!, a Detroit American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Detroit, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
