Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Honey is a little beagle/dachshund or beagle/basset mix, who loves food, other dogs and YOU! She is a cuddly girl who has some confidence issues, but bonds quickly with people who are kind to her. She is a fairly easygoing dog and likes to spend evenings on the couch, but has a good amount of energy to play with toys and other dogs too.
Honey's prior history is unknown. She was picked up as a stray in the Carolinas and appears to have had many litters of puppies. She likes the outdoors, but was confused and a little overwhelmed when she went on a walk for the first time. She will need some continued socialization to the outside world and is a little hesitant in new situations, but usually warms up quickly and ends up taking it all in stride.
Honey has been a perfect foster except for two things -- she snores very loudly and has a high prey drive when it comes to birds and other critters in the yard. She is a joy to have around...!
