My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kaya is a very lucky girl! This sweet nomad appeared in a rescuer’s driveway, very emaciated and obviously neglected. Our rescue group took her in and we have fattened her up and fully vetted her. She appears to be a full-blooded red husky. Kaya is a wonderful girl, strikingly beautiful and very alert. She loves, loves, loves attention! She gets along well with other dogs but is definitely very cat aggressive, so it’s best that she be adopted into a home with no cats. Please note that Kaya is being fostered in Tennessee, so it wouldn’t be possible to meet her prior to adoption. This type of adoption works quite well and is used by many southern rescues to get our dogs out of high-kill areas where they are abused and neglected, and into areas where there is legislation to protect them and where we know they are safe and loved. The $450 adoption fee includes the cost of spaying, all immunizations, and transport to your area. This beautiful girl would love to be the newest member of your family!!
