My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sasha is a sweet schnoodle girl. She was released from a MO puppy mill and came to us thru Best Friends of Utah saving mill dogs. She is very active a typical puppy with lots of energy. She needs lots of training as at 5 months old she hasn't had any yet. Her foster family is working with her, but an adopter needs to know that puppies take a lot of care, but are a joy to watch grow up. Sasha is mostly black with just a little white on her head and under her chin. These are her pictures when she was at the vets for her spay. We will get better pics later.

Sasha's adoption fee is $350 and includes a dental and all of our vetting below. Sasha is being fostered by Claudia and their family in Grand Rapids, MI area. Not all our dogs are totally house trained at the time of adoption. We crate train them or potty pad train and work on potty skills. When your application is approved, you will speak with the foster Mom for more information and you can check then at what point each foster dog is at; Dogs learn quickly and most are pretty far along or trained by the time of adoption.

Sasha has been examined by our vet, spayed, had a 5/1 annual shot, a rabies shot and tag dewormed, heart worm tested and passed. Our rescues are on flea/tick and heartworm monthly preventatives in season. We also do a dental if our vet deems it necessary which is included in our adoption fee. Our adoption fee covers all vetting expenses and a small donation to cover the dogs food and care.

We send your new dog home with a copy of all vet paperwork, adoption papers, a small bag of the dog food they have been on and information on taking care of the dog. Also a health folder for your vet and notes from our foster mom on their schedule, habits and socialization skills.

We do adopt our rescue dogs to adjourning states and some others within driving distance of the foster family. We DO NOT SHIP OUR DOGS--the adoptive parents must meet the dog at the foster mother’s home. This will give the adoptive family a chance to meet the dog before they adopt it. Our dogs are fostered in NE Ohio and surrounding areas.  Please make sure you are willing to drive to pick up the dog within 2 weeks if approved, and check the distance to the foster home per the location above.
