This gentle loving gal was left to die in a high kill shelter...we just couldn't let that happen so even though we had no home for her we were able to get her into a loving foster home. Amelia just wants so badly to please and would flourish in a home of her own. Read the bio her foster mommy wrote:
Amelia is super sweet mutt mix, Dutch Shepherd but not pure bred...possible Bully or Boxer type mix that loves snuggles, hugs n kisses. Currently, she resides with our family that consists of my 3 dogs , a Corgi, and two Pitbull type mixes. We have a Cat and a cockatoo that she does like to chase so we keep her away from them. She loves my three children ages five through ten and is a good gentle companion to them.
Amelia is fun to be around and she enjoys walks , loves to chase her ball and romps with her other canine companions. She has especially bonded with my Pitbull and they play constantly. Amelia is crate trained and potty trained (Although there have been a few accidents at first she is doing a great job and I am very proud of her.)
We have taken Amelia her to the groomer and to pet adoption events and they both went well. Our Groomer absolutely loved her and although she was a bit nervous at adoptions, she was nothing but soo very sweet and at times will be very submissive. We don't know her past but she came to us a bit on the shy side, but she quickly showed us what a charmer she is.
I can say Amelia is SUPER SMART, learns quickly, is very willing and loyal and most energetic at play....like a child at recess she just lights up. This Gal really wants to Please and will give her heart to you....wont you consider giving this little rescue the home she so deserves....Please email for pictures of her. She is currently in Temecula but we will transport her to you for a meet and greet..
