Patches's Story...
Patches came from Ohio originally, he was pulled from a pound by another rescue personal, who couldn't find a foster so he transferred to us. He is a sweet boy who loves to play, and run around. He is about six years old, but the terrier in him screams puppy for life. He DOES not like cats and is aggressive towards them, he will NOT go to a home with cats. He is better with older children because of his terrier like quirks. He was attacked by some pit bulls and his hair is growing in around the areas where he was shaved for healing. This poor guy needs a forever home, he has been passed around too much, he is super sweet and will keep you laughing for the many years he has left.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patches, a Davison Wheaten Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier for sale in Davison, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier dog from a breeder in Davison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davison paves the way for another one to be saved.
