Mary's Story...
Howdy sugars! My name is Mary. What's yours? I am an adorable, dainty 3 year-old “pocket” pittie bull. It is said that good things come in small packages and I am no exception. Although my past looks like it may have been fraught with difficulties, my winning personality shines through. I just love people and I'm fond of both doggies and kitties. I walk well on leash and am a happy, fun, energetic gal. I love to play but my style needs a bit of refinement, which is why I'd do well with older children. Aren't I all that and a bag of treats?! Please do come on down and see for yourself what a gem I am! How refreshing would it be to wake up to my sweet kisses every morning? I promise to gargle with mouthwash first!

Act quickly to adopt Mary. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mary, a Huntington American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Huntington, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
