Sam is a handsome 3-4 year old Retriever mix. He has the most beautiful black coat and in the sun there are subtle red highlights. Sam has a wonderful personality. He gets along well with other dogs and cats and people of all kinds. Sam appears to be healthy as a horse and is a great happy go lucky kind of boy. He has some idea about his basic commands, however they could use a bit of fine tuning so a class would be a fun way for Sam and his new family to get to know one another.
Sam is house trained and sleeps through the night next to his foster parents bed . . . unless, of course, you have to get up in the middle of the night, then he thinks perhaps we are going for a walk or getting ready to play or something must be happening. Why else would you be up at 3am? He settles right back down and falls back to sleep though.
If you are the kind of person who enjoys typing away on the computer with a big silky furry head resting on your forearm and adoring eyes gazing up at you, then Sam may just be your guy.
