Carrie Janell's Story...
Please contact Janell at snugbugcrafts@yahoo.com if you would like to know more about Carrie: 3/18/12 Hello, my name is Carrie and I am a 5 year old mix weighing about 60 pounds. The rescue has no idea what combination of dog breeds I may be, but that is okay because love doesn't require a pedigree. I can boast many wonderful qualities but the one that shines is my intelligence. I am an independent problem solver and very easy to train. However, with my intelligence boundaries will need to be established and leadership will have to be exercised otherwise, I will do things my own way. In addition to being smart, I am also people oriented and thrive when I am part of a family. I do well with other dogs and I also love children. However, cats are not a good match for me because I have a high prey drive. Overall, I am eager to please and will devote myself to you completely. I am house and crate trained, all of my vaccinations are up to date and I am spayed. Please contact Janell at snugbugcrafts@yahoo.com for more information. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Carrie is a Boxer mix weighing about 50 pounds. She was a stray, but the vet estimates her to be about 4 years old. Carrie has many wonderful qualities, but her best is her loyalty. Carrie is intensely devoted and is happiest when she is with her people. She craves affection and physical contact and bonds very closely with her person or family. In addition, Carrie will need to be placed in a home that offers her the companionship of other dogs. She seems to enjoy the pack hierarchy and finds comfort and security in it when her people are not available. Intelligence is another noteworthy quality for Carrie. She is attentive and responsive which made teaching her basic commands very easy. She responds well to kind and consistent training. Carrie is house and crate trained, up to date on vaccinations and spayed. Finally, Carrie adores children and seems to have a built in sense of responsibility for them. However, due to her size she should be placed in home with children 7 or older. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please contact Janell at snugbugcrafts@yahoo.com if you would like to know more about Carrie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carrie Janell, a Southampton Boxer/Catahoula Leopard Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Southampton, or seeking a Boxer/Catahoula Leopard Dog dog from a breeder in Southampton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southampton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southampton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Boxer/Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southampton paves the way for another one to be saved.
