My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Shamu and I'm looking for a forever family. I'm a sweet, laid back, lovable little guy. My foster mom found me in a shelter and I’m glad she did. The people there said my time was up.

I had been seriously neglected and had the sniffles when I was at the shelter so nobody wanted me. But mom took me straight to the vet. That nice vet guy gave me some “antibodies” I think and I’m feeling much better. My foster mom says that I am very healthy now and I act more like a puppy then the 6+/- years old that the vet thinks I am.

I have such a sweet disposition and have never met a lap I didn’t like. I love to be loved, but I am not very demanding. I get along with other dogs. My foster mom is working with me on my house training skills, since I forgot a little when I was kept in a cage all day at the shelter.

I'm looking for someone to be there for me and love me forever. Is that you?? I'm currently fostering in southeastern Virginia and my asking adoption fee is $200. Hope to meet you soon.
