Annie's Story...
My name is Annie and I am Retriever mix. I was born Oct 28, 2011, I am potty trained with a doggy door. I have been spayed and I have all my shots including rabies and I am microchipped. I am playful but shy. I love to be petted and brushed. I need someone that will work with me and help me grow. I need some one who will be very patient with me and enroll me in training classes so I can get more socialized and not be so scared of people. I am very sweet and I love all the attention you can give me.

Kids scare me because they jump around and move fast. I was adopted by some who had kids and I was a little shy when I went there. After 3 weeks I shut down and would hide I was so traumatized and scared there brought me back.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annie, a Golden Valley Golden Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Golden Valley, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Golden Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Golden Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Golden Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Golden Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
