My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pretty Stevie, born around 4/2011, was an injured stray kitty in need; fortunately she walked up to the right person to ask for help. A kind person found her while strolling the southern shore of Chicago’s Lake Michigan, seeing that the sweet girl was bleeding from her nose and mouth she scooped Stevie up and contacted Tree House immediately. Stevie was admitted to Tree House directly from the emergency room via a generous fund donated by a Tree House supporter. Though Stevie was sadly suffering from trauma to the face, she bravely bounced back to health with treatment and care. Stevie is very gentle and sweet with both people and cats. She is a little hesitant to make friends right away, but clearly craves attention from people. She’s often spotted purring and rubbing her cheeks against scratching post, gazing eagerly people in the room.
