Rambo's Story...
Rambo is a precious, sweet, boy who was tossed from a car window on 5/26 along with a 12 week old kitten. The kitten was immediately rescued, Rambo however wasnt saved until the next day, because he was scared & he ran. Luckily he didnt get hit by a car & he is ok. For a dog who has been traumatized, you wouldnt really know it! He looks like a chihuahua.... about 10lbs. It is possible he is a mixed breed since we don't know who his parents were, but he looks most like a chihuahua, solid white. Pictures coming soon....... Rambo is ok with cats, wants to be friends so much with the other small dog in his foster home, but the other dog wants nothing to do with him :(
He is going in on 5/30 to be heartworm tested, neutered & get his rabies vaccine. He has already been wormed, de flea-d and vaccinated. Rambo may need a little work out house/crate training, but it should not be too much work. He loves kids, and is good with everyone he has met so far- women and men. He needs A LOT of attention & wants to be wherever the people are, so please only apply for Rambo if you have a lot of time to spend with him. For more info, please call 817-980-9781 Adoption donation $110 to reimburse TCSR for vet expenses.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rambo, a Fort Worth Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
