Dodi is a very sweet and affectionate young girl looking for a home of her own. She and a small female yorkie mix that looked like a miniature Dodi were put out on a rural country road and taken in by an elderly good samaritan. This wonderful woman knew she did not have the resources to care for the dogs so she took them to the local shelter in hopes they would find a home. The smaller dog was adopted quickly. Dodi is a medium-sized dog at 36 lbs. She was horribly matted and in need of a bath and good grooming, so she was not showing well at the shelter. Soon her time was up. A plea went out to rescue groups to save her life and we were the lucky ones to get her. The first order of business when Dodi arrived at Cedar Farm was to give her a haircut and a bath. Boy oh boy, did she feel better! She has a wonderful wire coat and add that to her gorgeous eyes and adorable, quizzical expressions and she is quite the stunner! Dodi is a very mellow girl and if you are looking for a laid back companion please come meet her and see if she is the girl for you. She gets along well with other dogs and does nicely with cats too. We have not seen her around children but she is a very gentle dog and should do beautifully around them. Dodi walks well on leash and enjoys exploring. She is crate-trained and house broken and a very quiet dog. Dodi has been spayed and she is microchipped. All of her shots are current and she is heartworm negative.
