Josie's Story...
Hi I'm Josie, a 2 year 3 month old stunning Shib Inu / Sheltie mix. Paws 4 Humanity Inc rescued me from the Jacksonville ACPS as I was surrendered by my original owners who loved me dearly, as they had to move and could not take me with them. My original owners took reallly good care of me and trained me to the commands, sit, lay down, stay and come when called. I am also very well behaved in public and really enjoy my walks and one on one quality time with my humans.

I'm mildly shy but absolutely love people especially when they love me back. In general i'm a very smart and quiet girl. You could say my smarts come my two breeds the Shiba Inu and the Sheltie. I am the trued example of having the best of both breeds.

As long as i'm with someone i'm a happy dog. Going on walks and being with you will satisfy me forever. Love, compassion and your time is all I need to bring out my full potential. I get along great with every person I meet and most other dogs. I am not too sure I like the jumpy energetic little dogs as I don't know how to handle their high energy lifestyle. And cats, I don't think I have had the pleasure of meeting one in person so I don't know whether I would like them or not. What I really am is a very calm well mannered girl that is just looking for a family to enjoy me and love me back.

If you are interested in meeting with me (you won't be able to resist my sweet and loving personality) please contact Paws 4 Humanity Inc at 904 771-9516 or email to paws4humanity@att.net to request an adoption application which is the first step in trying to adopt yours truly. I looking forward to meeting you and proving to you that I deserve you and your family as my forever home. Love and kisses - Josie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josie, a Orange Park Shiba Inu/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shiba Inu/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Orange Park, or seeking a Shiba Inu/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Orange Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orange Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orange Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shiba Inu/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Shiba Inu/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orange Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
