Hi, my name is Millie (or Millie Moo once you get to know me), and I am a 6 year old Goffin cockatoo. My mom was very sick and could not take care of me, so I set out on a path of finding a new family that will enjoy my company. I was worried about my mom and started plucking my feathers, but the doctor said that the feathers will come back. Even without the feathers, I am a very pretty girl. I am very rambunctious but quiet, like a typical Goffin, and like to stay busy in or out of the cage or be completely content riding around on your shoulder or watching TV with you. I have lots of toys and enjoy all kinds of treats, even vanilla ice cream! My vocabulary is not very extensive but I can say “Millie”, “Millie Moo”, “Night Night”, and “Hello.” My foster family thinks I sound like a squeaky toy when I talk. I grew up in a house with all kinds of animals, so I am accustomed to all kinds of family members, even kids. I love getting attention and will reciprocate by cooing in your ear and warbling when I am content. I have lots of love to give for many years, hopefully, with your family.
