Olive's Story...
Olive was rescued from a high kill shelter after being picked up under-nourished, matted and dirty as a stray. She has been in a Lifeline foster home now for about a month where she has been groomed and is putting on the weight she needs. Olive loves to run around with different toys and can entertain herself for hours. She also loves her walks. Olive would do great in a family with another four legged submissive friend or as the only dog. Olive is 90% potty trained. Her foster home does not have a doggy door and when they are home she will pull at her leash and try to get their attention. It is when they are away that she sometimes has had accidents. We have never seen Olive around another cat, so are not sure how she will do

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olive, a Lake Forest Jack Russell Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Lake Forest, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Lake Forest.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Forest already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Forest breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Forest paves the way for another one to be saved.
