Fraser's Story...
NOTE: This is a courtesy posting for another rescuer. Please do not contact ARRF, as we do not know this dog personally. Be sure to contact the foster or organization directly from the information listed below.

Fraser is a neutered 4-year old black cat with soft fuzzy fur. He weighs about 12lbs. He likes attention and company. He is very curious and loves to explore and jump and climb. He enjoys petting, brushing, and being rubbed behind the ears and would make a wonderful friend!

One of the things Fraser loves to do is drink water straight from the faucet! See him in action in his video. Fraser is up to date on all shots, has tested negative for FIV/FELV and is litter box trained.

Fraser is really tired of living in a kennel and is not himself lately. Once he is in a stable home though, he will surely be back to his friendly and sweet self. He can be a little independent and would probably do best in a home with adults or older, cat savvy kids. Won't you give him a chance?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fraser, a Vista Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vista, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
