Buster & Bruster's Story...
Buster and Bruster are black brothers about a year old who were abandoned alone in a house when the people moved away. Buster has a teeny bit longer hair than Bruster and also has a fluffy tail. Buster also has a salivary gland cyst that is something to be aware of but should cause no problem according to the vet. These boys don't have to be adopted together but they like playing with other cats so would be a perfect pair! They are very rowdy and playful, and Buster is a bit more reserved, especially in the beginning of a new environment. These boys were rescued from Hopewell Animal Control when they were out of time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster & Bruster, a Petersburg Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Petersburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Petersburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Petersburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Petersburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Petersburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
