Rosie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Rosie's Story...
Rosie is a marvelous middle aged BC mix. And a sunnier nature would be hard to find! Rosie is a goofy, happy girl who gets along great with other dogs and looooves to fetch. She likes cats a little too much to live safely with them, so a feline-free home is essential. Rosie is also not a good choice for families with kids. She is a bigger girl, about 60 pounds, but that just means there's all the more dog to love! Rosie has won us over with her endlessly optimistic ways and she will make a wonderful companion to some lucky person.

Rosie is being fostered in a loving home near Casper, WY.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Glenrock Border Collie/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Husky for sale in Glenrock, or seeking a Border Collie/Husky dog from a breeder in Glenrock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glenrock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glenrock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Husky breeders who help with Border Collie/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glenrock paves the way for another one to be saved.
