Brandon's Story...
Brandon is a 2 years old, a real sweet boy. He weighs about 6 lbs. and is reddish with white markings. He was rescued from a kill shelter in Newman, CA, where he had been picked up as a stray. He is a happy fellow who gets along well with other dogs. He is mostly housebroken but will need a bit more work in his new home. He is friendly with people and loves kids. His foster family has been busy socializing him with friends, dogs of all sizes, and he has even met a cat recently. He has been quick to adapt to all situations and has even learned to sit on command! Brandon would also be a great candidate for a therapy dog. At a busy outreach event, he climbed a woman's wheel chair to greet her with kisses! He is a truly special dog.

Brandon's adoption fee is $250. Please contact foster Mom in Bremerton, WA at or for more information. We do not do same day adoptions unless you are preapproved. Adoption application with references checked & a home visit are required. We do many special events during the year, so check our calendar on our website:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brandon, a Seattle Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
