My story

Gunnar came to us after being picked up as a “stray”. He is not a dog that bolts out the door or digs under a fence. The only reason Gunnar would be on the streets is because he was thrown out like the trash. We don’t know if his owner died and this is the work of the heirs or if his own people did this to him because he was old.

Fortunately for Gunnar we don’t think he is trash and we know that some adopter out there will agree with us. Gunnar is about as sweet and easy as they come. He is content with a cushy bed and some cuddling. He is a quiet boy, yelping only when the rambunctious young dogs in his foster home bowl him over as they run through the house.

Gunnar has been treated for an eye infection, ,had a tumor removed and he has had a dental. He appears to have been housebroken as he will go the minute you put him down outside. He sleeps quietly in his crate at night (although he doesn’t want just any old blanket and bed. In foster care, he switched himself to the crate with the big fluffy comforter. He then burrows in and you would never know he was there)
