Jacob's Info...

I am in need of an experienced adopter and good with kids.

Jacob's Story...
Jacob is approximately 5 years old. He needs to get use to you for about a day and then he will be more than happy to hang out on your arm or just laying on the bed watching TV. He has "cuddled" with my 12 year old daughter so he seems ok with kids. Depends on how loud the kids are and if they have patience. Jacob does talk, he says Hello, I love you and a few more sentences. Since Jacob is a large bird that will need attention and care he needs an experienced adopter. There are no medical issues that we know of. Please contact us for more information if you are interested in Jacob. Adoption fee is 600.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jacob, a Skiatook Cockatoo was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cockatoo for sale in Skiatook, or seeking a Cockatoo from a breeder in Skiatook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Skiatook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Skiatook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cockatoo breeders who help with Cockatoo rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Skiatook paves the way for another one to be saved.
