My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marlowe is a beautiful boy that was transfered to Katie's Place from another shelter where he was originally brought in as a stray. Marlowe is approximately two years old and has probably spent the entire two years of his life in the same home with the same people. Unfortunately this boy wasn't able to be reunited with his family and now Marlowe has become extremely unhappy. The poor boy didn't have a lot of trust for us volunteers at the shelter. With time and patience, Marlowe has come to see that we're not as scary as he once thought and will allow us to pet him much more than he used to. Marlowe will still give warning growls if he feels we're paying too much attention to him, though this is happening less and less. We're sure when Marlowe is back in a home and out of this extremely stressful environment he'll be a happy, calm, loving boy once more. Because Marlowe can get overwhelmed, he should not go to a home with small children or dogs, but other cats would be okay as long as they are respectful of his space. If you're looking for a gorgeous boy to complete your family, come meet Marlowe.
