Simba was born in November 2008 and was adopted out as a pup. He was dumped in the shelter after being adopted out from us in 2009. He is a beautiful boy and is in need of a new family. He is not compatible with all dogs. Does well with medium/large female dogs. No Cats.

Stop by and meet our pets on Saturdays from noon to 4pm near the groomers in the PetSmart store in Simi Valley, except holiday weekends. Please email ahead to make sure a particular pet will be at adoptions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simba, a Simi Valley Rhodesian Ridgeback/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rhodesian Ridgeback/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Simi Valley, or seeking a Rhodesian Ridgeback/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Simi Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Simi Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Simi Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rhodesian Ridgeback/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Rhodesian Ridgeback/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Simi Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
