Peanut's Story...
Tiny Peanut is a gentle, affectionate little girl. She's nine pounds and estimated to be four years old. She loves nothing more than to sit with her person, snuggled in a soft blanket. She does well with other dogs and has respect for cats. At nine pounds, that's probably a wise decision! Peanut is a healthy girl and is current on her vetting. She's microchipped, heartworm negative, spayed, vaccinated (rabies, bordetella, and distemper/parvo), parasite free, and has been checked over by her vet. All she needs now is a home where she'll be adored. Peanut is fostered in Huntsville, AL. To learn more about her, please email INFO@FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Nashville Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
