Celine's Story...
location: Floyds knobs, IN
Celine is a 4 month old Rattie mix with a big personality. We're not sure what the other half of her is, but we are leaning toward Wire-haired Doxie or Fox Terrier. Celine is crate trained, working on house training, and does well if kept on a schedule. She walks well on a leash and is very smart - and is always looking for something she hasn't seen before. Celine is mostly black with both tan and white on her underside. She likes belly rubs and snuggling in your arms. Celine is never grumpy, but has a happy, goofy grin on her face at all times. Her favorite dogs at her foster home are her friend Spencer (the standard Poodle) and Dakarai (a Rat Terrier). Celine thinks Spencer is a large pillow and will curl up on his back to take a nap! She loves to have chasing contests with Dakarai. Celine weighs about 10 pounds and is about 14 inches tall. She was found walking the streets of Owensboro (KY) according to the people who turned her into the shelter, but she was only 8 weeks old and hardly old enough to travel on her own, so her real story will never be known. Celine loves adults, teens and children. She was a big hit at a recent pet fair that Ratbone attended, and played with all the dogs and cats, so it is beleived that she would be fine with a cat or two in her new home. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Celine, a Carmel Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Carmel, or seeking a Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Carmel.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carmel already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carmel breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carmel paves the way for another one to be saved.
