Denise's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Denise's Story...
Rowdy child is my nickname. I just love to run and play and chase toys and jump in the kiddy pool and have a fine time. But I am a smart girl too. My manners are really good for a kid my age: I walk perfectly on my loose leash, I can stay a whole night in the crate without an accident, and I can tell foster mom when it is time to go out. Playing with the other dogs in my foster home is a favorite activity. Being with an older child or a cat who is dog savvy would be fine as well. My friendly and outgoing personality recommends me as a good family pet. Overall, I can give a lot of joy and entertainment and will ask you to give me loads of attention and love. My estimated adult weight is 35 – 40 lbs. My edob is 2/12.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Denise, a Houston Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Houston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
