Angel's Story...
If you are interested in adopting from our organization, please fill out and submit our online application. Vet and personal references will be checked and a home visit is required before you meet the dog. Also, a minimum 5' high fenced yard is required to adopt any of our dogs and invisible fences are NOT acceptable.

All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm tested, on heartworm preventative year-round, and microchipped for identification.

Angel is a 5-year-old female Siberian Husky who recently came into our rescue, along with two other dogs that came from a neglectful home. Angel is very thin and has some skin issues that are from living in a filthy, outdoor pen. We are working on getting some weight on her and clearing up her skin issues. We don't know much about her except that she seems like a very nice girl (she only growled when a collar was put over her head because she had an ear infection at the time). More information will be posted here as we learn more about Angel. Included here is a short video of the 3 dogs when they first arrived and enjoyed running in the yard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel, a Belleville Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Belleville, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Belleville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Belleville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Belleville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Belleville paves the way for another one to be saved.
