Tina's Story...
Tina was found with her mom and other siblings tied to a tree outside her owners’ home. A caring (and brave) lady approached the owners and offered an ultimatum: hand over mom and pups or the cops would be called. The owners finally did the right thing and handed mom and puppies over to start a new life! Tina is really small for a Border Collie so dad must have been a smaller breed. Despite their circumstances, Tina was given great care by her mom and is in good health. Now all this sweet little girl needs is a loving home to call her own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tina, a Houston Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Houston, or seeking a Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
