Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet sweet, funny, wonderful Tank.
Tank is a type of Jack Russell Terrier known as a puddin’ dog. He is strong and tough but very short-legged with benched legs similar to a bull dog. He is shorter and longer than most Jack Russells. Puddin’ dogs go back at least a hundred years in the English and Irish country sides. We now know that puddin’s have a dwarf gene.
Tank is sweet, wonderful and entertaining. He loves to play ball and loves squeaky toys. He loves a good belly rub. He is strong and tough but very loving. He loves to ride in the car. He stays close to his Foster Dad and is responsive to voice commands. He is crate trained and potty trained. And he is impossibly cute.
Tank will win your heart with his clownish behavior. When you meet him at his crate, he does a little bouncy dance. He loves to play with the other JRTs at his foster home. While short and stout, he is still very much a Jack Russell and likes to chase squirrels and hunt. He would not be good with cats as he would likely consider them prey. Like most Jack Russells, we recommend placement to families with no children under 6 years of age. A fenced yard is strongly preferred.
Tank is a sweet, fun-loving shorty JRT. We think he is 3 to 4 years old. He weighs 23 pounds but is only 10.5” at the withers. Tank is up to date on shots (DHPP, bordatella and rabies), micro-chipped, crate-trained and potty-trained. He will make a very special life-long friend for a loving caring family. If you would like to meet Tank, contact his foster dad Christopher Bare at uncbare@yahoo.com.
