My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jabba is a beautiful lab/hound mix that is just as sweet as can be! She has a great disposition and gets along very well with other dogs and kids. Jabba was literally living on borrowed time at the kill pound, but now that she is safe she is ready to be your best friend. She was one of 12 dogs that our southern volunteers pulled from a high kill shelter in Tennessee. She was living with a volunteer in Tennessee for about a month during which time she was spayed, fully vetted, temperament tested, and given the day to day care dogs need. She is now in Rhode Island living in a foster home and is one of the happiest dogs this foster has ever had. She is about 9 months old we believe and has many "puppy" characteristics in her for sure. She is very playful with both dogs and toys, house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, happy to go for drives in a car, gets along with other dogs, happy to meet new people, loves children, and just an overall a good girl. She is still in need of learning some basic manners and commands that any puppy would, but we already have taught her to sit and comes pretty well when called. She will truly make a great family companion for someone. Let us know if it might be you.

***All of our dogs are located in TN, unless otherwise stated in their bio above. We are a shelterless rescue, which means we do not have a physical location, so it is not possible to come to see multiple dogs at one time. We have a handful of foster homes up North, but the vast majority of dogs reside in TN. Our adoption fee is $450 and includes all their vetting, including their spay/neuter, and transport up to the Northeast.***
