Angel's Story...
This little Angel was rescued from a freeway off ramp when a good samaritan saw her and gently coaxed her into his car. He later found out others had seen her months before, so apparently she had been living by the freeway for a while. She is an approximately 9 month old lab mixed with something else as she is small. She looks like a pocket lab; currently weighing 27lbs. She is spayed, chipped and up to date on shots. She loves to lounge around and is very mellow. She is looking for a loving home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel, a Lake Forest Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lake Forest, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Lake Forest.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Forest already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Forest breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Forest paves the way for another one to be saved.
