Moe's Story...
One look at him and you will say "Give me some 'Moe"
Moe is about 1.5 years old and weighs a mere 25 lbs. Moe and his siblings were dumped at a small rural animal control facility where they were scheduled to be put to sleep due to lack of space. Thankfully, their guardian angel arrived and brought Moe and his brothers Larry and Curly to us. Now Moe is ready to find a loving family to call him own. Moe gets along well with other dogs and is affectionate with people. He is submissive and a bit shy. but is very loving and affectionate. Moe is smart and very anxious to learn and please. He is crate trained and is doing very well in the house. If you are interested in Moe, contact us at rookiesrescue@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moe, a Harrisburgh Dachshund/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Harrisburgh, or seeking a Dachshund/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Harrisburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Dachshund/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
