My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Four year old, 12 lb Dottie is a beautiful dog - on the inside and out.

Poor Dottie had the misfortune to originally belong to an owner that left her in the back yard and made her have four back to back litters before she was two and a half years old.. (Fortunately she has been given a break this past year).

Dottie is shy due to lack of fun normal dog activities. You know - going for a walk, seeing people come over, going for a car ride (even if just to see the vet).
She would like a male doxie in her new home to give her confidence. (Need two? She would love to be adopted with her buddy, Rolf)

Once she gets comfortable, she loves a lap for cuddling. She plays with other dogs. We have been told she ignores cats but we have no way of verifying this.

She has a petite face but she is packing some extra weight on her body. Her new
home should monitor her portions and most importantly, get her exercise.
