Freckles's Story...
Freckles is an awesome dog! Freckles loved spending time at the local school, but that was kind of frowned upon. Her owners never came forward to take her home, and so she ended up here...with me...in a kennel. Poor girl. She really wants to be with people who will love her, walk her, pet her and tell her she is perfect. Her only drawbacks to this point are loving chickens a little too much, being gun shy and not tolerating the kennel run well. She is content in the house, and she stays in the fence. Very nice dog. She is scheduled to be spayed, so adoptees will have to wait or keep the appointment!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Freckles, a Chewelah German Shorthaired Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer for sale in Chewelah, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer dog from a breeder in Chewelah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chewelah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chewelah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chewelah paves the way for another one to be saved.
